NO. its all on power class and its also outlaw spl . doors open so score are higher then if they did it on the dash seal.

you do not want to sit in a 160+db car (on tl) even with hearing protection.
nah id like to sit in a 150+ though...and hear a 160 from the outside...
when 80 said some of these cars are gonna be doing 160+ does he mean AC or TL...sealed...or outlaw?
and what time are you getting there?

160+ sealed at the dash on tl mic
the number folks r doing in usac is numbers us db draggers do sealed at the dash so i think its safe to say that folks who compete in db drag have louder cars than usac folks or even meca competitors:blackeye:

oh snap...im expecting some big numbers sunday Stan...when you planning on getting there?
Is this a public show? I went to the Dub show they had 2 yrs ago. How much is admission if anyone knows. I know to that show it was $30. Sorry to ask newbie questions just would like to see the setups people have and how they sound. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
i think its 30 to get in....and then another 30 if you wanna enter your car..where in NJ are you...you should absolutely come by you can meet a bunch of forum members
I'm in warren county. My car isn't set up for competition. I will be getting rainbows with a 10 tc oem powered by kicker 1000 done soon. That isn't enough to enter a competition. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif . Might be getting it put in this weekend, not sure though because my deadening isn't coming until next weekend. Decisions decisions. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Actually, comparatively speaking, the USAC guys are right on par with the DB drag guys, though it's a bit unfair to compare the two since the rules are COMPLETELY different.
Same for MECA.
Put a DB drag guy in MECA and he'll get owned, and vice versa.
You are absolutely wrong. I've done MECA. Most of the 'big' numbers in MECA are owned by DB Dragers. The same is true for USACi.

What the hell are you talking about?
I've competed in MECA for the past 3 years.
Hardly ANY top db draggers come into MECA. In fact, I can't name any that have placed in the top 3 at meca FINALS for the past 2 years. Now, every now and then a big number may pop up in MX3 (the highest non-extreme class) in MECA because one of the superstreet guys does MECA at a big show like SBN or SVR. But none of those guys seriously compete in MECA.
Now usaci on the other hand, that may be true. I don't follow usaci as much as the other two.
