My dad gets pissed because he thinks Im going to go deaf. My mom hates it because she thinks Im going to get in trouble with the cops because of it.

I hope to pull my engine this summer and work on it i got the v8 302 h.o. same engine as the mustang. going to supe up the engine and dress it up just a bit for the show's and my dad's friend has a lift in his garage i just found out so i was like hell yeah.

Everytime my dad drives my car, he messes with the rear view, and side mirrors. He will tune the music the way he likes, I get in and freak out, WHERE IS MY BASS? They didn't like it at first, but once I got into competing and stuff and taking it seriously, they stopped bugging me about it so much.

When my neighbor called the cops on me for testing in the driveway in the middle of the afternoon, my mom went to the neighbors house and b*tched them out hardcore. It was pretty funny.

I don't live at home, and i still have to hear some of the "You could spend your money on much better things" speech. They have gotten better, though. My dad wants me to figure out a setup in his '05 PT Cruiser, and design it so there is nothing in view but the stock speaker grills. Which should be easy, since that car came with the openings for an 8" subwoofer in the rear side panel. He is trying to this all without my step-mom knowing. But yeah, the parents usually come around. Some don't, but most do.

my parent used to hate is when i was 18 and saved $2500 and spent it all on a system, while working at MKD's thats including the materials for the install and tools. so it wasn't much of a system.

but then they changed their mind when i started doing installs for the kids at school and made more then the money spent in my install in a couple of month.
