Who else likes to Fish?

**** Cobia fishing... Last time we caught one it was gaffed and as soon as it hit the deck it went nuts. I have scars on my legs and foot from that bastard.

They have really hard mouths. You need to use circle hooks, or set the hook hard as hell.
circle hook is a must for cobia also

topwater period man one of the best ways and most fun to catch snook and reds are topwater use a spit n image or a top pup and just walk the dog, and i have also caught alot of reds off the old trust gold spoon haha, and doa jerkshads and shad tails by doa rootbeer and chartuse are known the one of the best colors for reds along with electric chicken jerkshads are good too, and for a sandy bottom use a jig head but for charlotte harbor i have to use a weighted worm hook and rig weedless, since the water is only about 12 inches or less the water they are in, and if there is no wind at all i throw it weightless and work it about 2 inches below the surface and reds kill the soft plastics, you can also throw shrimp or live bait like pinfish or threadfins, reds love pinfish and crabs as well when they are tailing they are eating crabs and shrimp, you can also try the gulp shrimp dont use it too much but had a lil luck on it

then throw topwater or weedless soft plastics i like weedless period works better and has better results with it, but topwater is my number one i fish that all year and all times of the day and always catch fish with it, hell that jack and the tarpons i have caught have been on topwater even a few sharks haha

thanks for the advice Im going to try that out. The fishing reports tell me I am going to catch a limit but Im not going for another 2 weeks. Hopefully the bite will still be on like it is. Bedtime Peace

LoL. It's a monster!!! Just a baby cat fish of some awkward species. I would think that one would question the fancy gold fish type fish before this one. hahaha. I also caught 2 turtles that day. The first 1 was 2 times the size as the one pictured!

well cant buy snook or redfish at the store a few restraunts sell redfish but for a piece of fish which is about 4x4" is 18 bucks so yea its pricey and its more fun to catch it and cook it yourself and have alot to eat

I like fishing!

I fish offshore while in Jacksonville... we usually catch kingfish, mahi, sailfish, wahoo, and black tuna (as well as barracuda and bonita //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif)

When I'm in Rcansaw, I catch rainbow and brown trout on the Little Red. I go to Pangburn which is about 30 mins from me.

edit: and I'm a big fan of fishing for Tarpon in St. Augustine around Labor day. I got a 200lb fawker once... nearly pulled me off the damn boat.

My girlfriend and I go fishing (but not catching) all the time. This summer we went 2-3 times a week and the best we ever did was a ~20" redfish (and a nice size lobster, dont ask lol). I guess that probably means I **** at fishing if the biggest fish I caught out of twenty something fishing trips is a 20" fish. We did see a guy catch a 5-6 foot tarpon one night though, coolest thing I'd seen in a while.

Here's a pic of a monster from our last fishing trip. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
