Your arguements can be made about the Pistons too, yet Billups has a better shot and is extremely more clutch than Nash. Billups has 1 less point, 2 less assists. The Pistons have won more games than the Suns, and are 2-0 vs them. Your suns got up around 20, and we still came back and whomped you by seven.

Billups has hit more game winners than Nash, so maybe he should be the MVP by your standards?

Oh, and all the pistons are having great seasons/career years.

This is off-topic but

dbmeters, I see it says you're from Las Vegas... so you gonna be at the all star game next year? anyways, I'll be there, do you know of any good hotels to stay there? Hopefully ones where you don't need to be 21 to get in and don't need a credit card? PM me if you know of a place.

Are you honestly that stupid? When did i ever say game winners determine MVP? I simply said that it should go to the player who is the most vaulable to his team. Yes Kobe is in that category but I believe Nash is more valuable to the team. And didnt you say earlier that wins/loses mean nothing? Oh and by that standard does it mean that the Jazz and Nets are better than the pistions because they beat them TWICE? The question should not be how many wins you have, look at it more like this, if Nash was gone would the Suns be winning games? No. If Billiups was gone would they be winning games? Yes. Kobe shoots the ball, that is not justification for MVP. This is much like Philly with A.I., he shoots way to much also and he made it to the finals once and havent been close since. So one star player wont win a title, a team does and when you have one player that makes the entire team better that is justification for MVP.

has to be billups man! and like i said before i am obviously a spurs guy. if injuries would have not plagued us this year we would have cleaned up and been tied with detroit or surpassed their record. evertime i see timmy over at my buddies shop his ankles are swollen up like grapefruits. i feel bad for the guy, but we will see what happens.

a big x2

without billups, they would still be one of the best teams in the east, and the suns lost like 7 or 9 players from last year and are still a top tier team. did you ever hear about boris diaw or leandro barbosa before this year? no, the only reason they are making it in the nba is becuase of steve nash. they went from no namers to the triple doubles leader and the one of the best 3 pt shooters in the nba. and for kobe, scoring 40 points when you take 30 shots a game doesnt justify and mvp award.

billups should not win the mvp, because i don't believe he is "the most valuable" to his team. you can argue that ben wallace is more valuable to the pistons, then billups. the lakers are only 7th in the west, and could have easily missed the playoffs. lebron not only scores, but he rebounds, and passes, and the cavs are a higher seed then the lakers. lebron also shoots at 48% vs. kobe's 44%

Yeah buddy, I heard dat!

Plus if Lebron goes down, I dont think the cavs would be winning many games. If chauncey goes down the Pistons will still be a very good team.

You surprise me everyday Teabone;)

as much as i like the pistons, i know chauncey is a very good player and should've been all-star a season or 2 ago, but if you can argue wether he is the mvp of his team, then he isn't league mvp. also the pistons won 50 games and made the playoffs before billups came. the only player remaining from the pre-billups team is ben wallace.
