i also think elton brand deserves more respect. not too many 20-10 players in the league, who can block shots, and shoot 52%.

Agree about everything. I think that Elton isnt getting respect like the others due to the whole clipper curse. I dont think it is fair cause I do think he is one of the better players out there. But at least he is being reconized as one of thee elites this year. Also said it before and will say it again. I think the clippers could be a sleeper this year. Have talent out the a-s-s.

yeah agreed on Clippers being a sleeper this year too... The only thing that I think could hurt them is inexperience... but that doesn't even effect some teams, so I see Clippers still doing well.

if memphis would've dropped to that 6th seed, i would've picked them as a sleeper team. they are one of the best defensive teams, and could've beat denver, especially with home court advantage, then in the second round they would most likely get phoenix who is beatable

not sure if this is true, but I was just listening to the scores of tonights game...

and before they showed the highlights it said something like:

According to (some source) Steve Nash will be awarded the MVP award tommorow...

I wasn't really listening... but hopefully this isn't true? Go Chauncey!

Kobe Bryant should be the MVP, but it's already been confirmed that Steve Nash will win the MVP again. I don't think he deserves the MVP this year, but it doesn't matter now.

If anybody watched the game tonight, Steve Nash got OWNED by Kobe Bryant. Kobe dunked on Nash. Kobe had his nutz all in his face.

yeah Kobe had an amazing year. This year, you could make points for a lot of different players to win it and then reasons why they shouldn't. I can't wait to see how the voting came out, it should be a very close.

yeah its in the phoenix news paper that nash is the mvp seen it during the game this evening.... oh well he didnt deserve it he merely got it because he has better numbers then he did last year when he won it. they felt like they had to give it to him so they did. chauncey kobe and lebron were much more deserving, hell even elton brand deserved it more then that dooshbag

I know a lot of people dont like him....but Elton Brand averages a double double...thats pretty impressive right there alone.

Nash is well deserving...it hurts Billups to play with 3 all starts (in voter's eyes) and it definitly helped Nash's case that Amare was out the whole year and the Nash made Raja Bell and Boris Diaw into regulars on SportsCenter. Nash does make everyone around him much better......

Pistons are gonna win it all regardless..... regular season awards = WORTHLESS!
