You see Jill supporters everywhere online. It seems she should have received more votes, but perhaps it's just a demographic thing. Still, the Green Party did gain a bunch of benefits from this election.
Hopefully Bernie continues to head the progressive coup of the Democratic Party. Hillary's loss was due largely to progressives taking a stand (the missing 6 million votes). Trump actually received the same number as the previous two losing Republican candidates, so it wasn't some conservative uprising, but the effect was the same, people standing up against an oligarchy.
Trump is making some crucial backsteps that I like, regarding his policies, but he still prefers failed trickle down economics. He might end up being no worse than Obama, another center-right president that increases wealth inequality. Maybe next election we'll get some actual change. I can actually see disillusioned Trump supporters joining the progressive revolution as long as it is deemed a working class revolution.
