Steve at Amp Medics is great. He is a personal friend of mine, and between myself and friend's amps I have brought to him, It has to be over $40-$50k worth of amplifiers that Ive dropped off to him, and never a problem.

He is actually the authorized repair center for quite a few companies, like Addictive Audio, Crescendo, and American Bass.

Cant go wrong.

I spoke to two techs familiar with the amp who said the same thing. That *****. Im not really looking forward to sending these things back and forth hoping that they will finally work when they come back.

On the bright side, I found a pretty good deal on a Sundown 3500, which should get me by for a while until I can get another one. Also, I have a pair of old Zeus amps that I would rather put money into. Im looking forward to hearing what OS power sounds like compared with modern Class D. To be only 900 watts RMS, I recall these amps being extremely loud. I had just one on a pair of Crunch Pro Cast 18s and it literally shook the ground.

Any bets on TL numbers for the Old. School?

These are made in China by drunk babies. Their new APK amps are made in Korea. I am not pleased with their customer service and commitment to their product, so I wont be trying them.
