Hey guys,
Here's my situation:
-ARC KAR 400.4 powering front Rainbow SLC-265 and rear SLC-165
-ARC KAR 1000.2T powering (2) ARC Series 10D2 subs
-4 AWG cable from battery to dist. block in trunk, 60 amp fuse near battery
-8 AWG cables to each amp from dist. block
-8 AWG ground cables from each amp to a ground dist. block
-4 AWG ground from ground dist. block to chassis
I'm told I need to run 1/0 back there to give the amps proper power. After doing some research, I think I've decided on welding cable. So I guess this is what I'll need:
-about 30 feet of 1/0 welding cable (a little extra incase I decide to do the Big 3)
-fuse holder and proper fuse size for under the hood
-two dist. blocks from 1/0 to 4awg
-whatever terminals/connectors I need to hook the 1/0 up to the battery, ground, and dist. blocks
-I'll use the 4 and 8 awg I have already to go from the dist. blocks to the amps. I'll aso need some 4awg spade terminals to hook the 4awg up to the 1000.2T
Anybody want to put a package together for me?
