i fully agree. native americans dont even ***** about it either. and what about asians? they were slaves too. dont see them *****ing either. no one alive was a part of any of that. why do we care about it? it doesnt exist. we all agree its wrong. it wont happen again. its like your girl friend yelling at you every day for something you did in a past relationship years befor you even knew her.

now im all in favor of pride. be proud of who you are and hell even what your ancesters went through. thats a good thing, pride. but the only people in this world that cant be proud are white people. as soon as we do anything and call it "white" its racist. you all heard of a kid that tried to start a white club in high school and was told no.

the more things that we make "black" the more you seperate races and point out that it is an issue. most white people dont even care about race but i cant even tell you how many times some black kids come into my store and say something like "oh shit, a bunch of naggers, call security." just pointing out a differance in race and never integrating with the rest of the world. a while back i walked past 2 black guys and they actualy barked at me. they thought i was going to get scared and go run for my life or something. that shit is actualy keeping racism alive.

just chill the **** out and live your life. blame yourself for your own problems and dont give a **** about anyone that doesnt like you. that goes for everyone. sorry for the rant.

I believe that everything should be earned. But at the same time the playing field isn't and never will be level. Whether you want to believe it or not, that does go back to the past. Not even talking about slavery. Just go back 50 years ago. Are you proud of an America that would not let blacks vote at one time? Then it became a case where you had to pay a poll tax in order to vote. My grandmother being a woman had to show she was once married and owned her home just to vote. The laws have changes yeah, but the damage is done. Imagine a **** victim. Do you ever think they get over it?
The deck is and always will be stacked. But even with that, I was always taught to make the most of it. Some people just make excuses. I will NEVER EVER say that because my ancestors were slaves, or my mother experienced racism in Birmingham Alabama that I will not amount to shit. I was always taught to either find a way or make one. It just shames me that when some doget that opportunity, they do not use it wisely.

The only problem I have is the fact that black people are stereotyped so negatively and the fact that people are still racist against black people for no good reason. This is a never ending conversation that I think shouldn't be talked about. They say you shouldn't talk about politics and religion to avoid arguments, well I think we should add this subject to that because it never gets anywhere. The "founding fathers" screwed everybody but none of them are alive anymore so there's no point in being mad over that anymore. There's so many problems that will never be solved so all we can do is accept it. There will always be ignorant people in the world that's just the way it is.

I believe that blacks that use their head can go just as far as a white that does the same. But it is a truth that a unmotivated black will fail worse than an unmotivated white.

In my area, I think the demographics are like 3.2% black. And unemployment is 6% or so. Demographics say 40% of our counties blacks are unemployed. This isn't only the coloreds fault.......I have witnessed blacks get turned away from nice jobs and shitty ones alike around here.

We have 1 black city police and 1 black county deputy----affirmative action at work son.

But both of these are "country negroes", who act more white than the rest.

I myself have never hired a black man, ever. Not because I am a racist bastard, but because there has never been a black man willing to do farm work for $3 over minimum wage. I'm sorry if they feel like they are too good to work for 8.50, but screw them. I can hire a messican to work for the same pay and get twice the productivity out of him as I can any black or white.

I grew up in a town that had nearly no minorities. I had no opinions on race what so ever. Then I joined the service. that's where I learned that the vast majority of blacks were racists. They hated me for no reason I could understand.

After I got out I moved to the city. I wondered why and still do to this day that black friends could come over to our house no problem. But there was a black neighborhood just to the west that if you drove through it your car better not break down there. if it did you wasn't walking out. you'd be carried out.

I know where the true racism is.

Maybe a different conversation, but not a different problem. Mexicans have issues with discrimination as well, but they rise above it. 90% of them are proud people, and do not care what anyone else thinks. They all believe in family first, and hard work to excel in life. If whites and blacks had the same motivation and desire to reach set goals, then this world would be a better place.

And for reference, I am white. My father came here from Germany, my mother's family here from Russia in the early 1900's. I know what discrimination does to people, as my parents were "foriegners", but that did not stop them. My father became a FreeMason, and a very sucessful machinist. My mother worked in a sewing factory her whole life, but did her best to raise 3 kids.
