whining noise?

I installed my 4g amp kit and I seperated the RCA's from any power source such as 12V power, remote, or speaker wire and my component set is making a whining noise which matches the the RPM's that my car is putting out. If the Ground cable is next to the 12V power cable can this cause the noise, and do I get ground loop isolator. If any 1 can help me, I would apppreciate it. thanks.
