whining noise

hey guys

i'm getting a whining noise from my speakers all 4 of them

now here is the thing there is no deck in the car right now cause it's not in yet

but when i plugged my 4 channel rca's in i get the whining noise, but when i unplugged them i get nothing what do u think could be the problem

maybe your rcas aren't shielded enough? i know it might not do anything, but make sure your power and rcas aren't run close together.

If there's no deck in the car, where are the 4ch RCA's going to from the amp?

the power is run from the trunk that's where the battery is

i am using stinger yellow rca's

and yes it changes sound when i rev the higher the rev the louder it is

there is no deck in the car the rca's are just sitting in the dash kit waiting for the deck (the orginal wires are still connected from the original head unit)

when i put my finger over any one of the four rca's it changes noises

so i changed my rca's to the stinger hypers when i plugged them in and just had them sitting there i reved the engine and nohting came up so i thought cool so i ran the wires down the driver door hooked them up reved and the noise was there. so now i am going to run them down the middle and see what happens.

i take it the amp is o.k cause when i plugged them in to start there was no sound.

now in my car i have both sides being used down the doors for heated seats power seats and probably trunk stuff(there was a pretty thick red wire also prob a 6 gauge or 8 gauge down the driver door). so i will let u guys know how the middle works tomorrow.

let me guess that didnt fix the prob

i say its an alt whine my truck does the same thing, but for some reason when i put the amp on hpf the sound goes away, so try that

actually the next morning i forgot to unplugged them and i drove once my car is in drive the whine is gone when i'm in park u can hear it at about 3000 rpm
