Which xovers to use for best SQ?

I'm installing the following system:

Alpine 9855 HU

DLS Iridium 3 way system (Front)

JL 12W7 sub

JL 500/1 (for sub)

JL 300/2 for front

My question is: Given the fact that both amps and also the HU have xovers, should I set the xvoers in the head unit and live the xovers settings on the amps in full range or vice versa.

The HU and the amps can be set to 24db/oct max.

Which one will be the best for a SQ competition system?

Well, I personally would prefer to set it on the HU and leave the amp's duties to only amplifying.

However, sometimes the Xover points on the HU are somewhat limited to specific frequencies, so the amp's xover may give you better fine tuning.

Try both, see which way you like better.
