i just like the overall design/sound of the brahma's better. i think they are just about the only xbl^2 sub that doesn't sound "hollow" to me.

they are quite a bit more efficient as well.

not to my ears, but that is besides the point.

i was merely using it as an example as to how it is hard to explain how a certain speaker sounds to a particular persons ear.

oddly enough, i have an 18'' MT coming my way.

for the brahmas though....

im doing 8 cubes @ 30hz w/ 6'' aeroports, only running it @ 2 though

Gotcha.

XXX's can sound dry to me. Not perfect reproduction dry, just like they dont want to play above 40Hz dry. Kinda like my avalanche past 60Hz. Inductance FTL.

MK III and MK IV brahmas both had high fialure rates.

Which MK IV Brahma's have failed? You mean the MK IV's that just started shipping out to the dealers 2 weeks ago? How do you know there is a high failure rate on the MK IV's?

The MK IV's look gorgeous; Vas has dropped magnificently on the Brahma's and Tumult's.
