so any suggestions on a mini bike / pit bike...obvisouly looking for good quality to cost ratio but the cost is more important that amazing quality...it just needs to work...and move me around haha

Check local classified for older model mini-bikes, should be able to find an older one with a briggs and stratton 5hp or something similar for fairly cheap. edit: try to look for something like the previous poster bought

You could get a REALLY used 15hp walk-behind commercial mower and put a seat on the top. That shit it'll go just as fast as the mini bike.

I bought a almost brand new 'New Age' Pit bike for $250 after some dumb *** broke their collar bone. Just check craigslist, and shit like that. Some dealerships have old stock that they want to get rid of so they'll let them go for **** near wholesale prices.

EDIT : I also got an old 'broken' KTM mini bike given to me that some guy was going to scrap, 'cause he couldn't get it running. I spent around 30 minutes, and $5 all together and got it running great. I just had to buy new flaring for it, and it's a better bike than my pit bike.

They had these bike there for a few years and nobody bought them. i bought 2. one was perfect, i bought for 500 otd, and that one was missing i forgot the name.... so i got it for 350 otd and bought the part for 5 bucks and presto.
