Which would you choose

out of these 2 possible subs, which would you choose and why

I have heard the Quantum is ok..I would take it over the HiFi anyday, but it is a LOT cheaper here:

I would use the Quantum because it has a better build quality vs the HiFi, and many more in that price range. At least it has the cooling measures to handle more than rated, but that too would depend on the soft parts.

but if I were to suggest a sub in the $75-$100, it would be the American Bass DX or XO...a little over $100 will get you the AB TNT 12's with the 12 spoke cast basket and superior cooling....$125 ea, IIRC.
