If you got the money: JL if money is an issue then the JBL 600.1 is still a great buy.

Yeah I doubt that there is that big of a difference in SQ. It seems like JL is pretty high on everything anyways.

While I run JL amps/speakers/subs and love the stuff, if money is an issue, the jbl should do an excellent job for you. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Good luck with your setup

overpriced and over rated? have you ever actually heard a good jl setup? because if you ever heard jl at its best, you wouldnt be saying that. if youve have heard it and you still think its over priced and over rated, then your entitled to your opinion and it would be unamerican for you not to voice it. but it is just an opinion.

Or let me put it this way, what amp would you buy for $250? Ive done alot of searching on these forums with pros and cons for everyone in my price range.

You can say this same statement for other brands, including JBL. Quality set-up is key.

Thats what i am shooting for.... A clean, respectable, and inexpensive quality (i know its an oxymoron) setup.

Also, if i do go for a dual 12 setup, what kind of box would be best if i were to go with two JL AUDIO w6 12" (or whatever other kind are decent but inexpensive).
