Which Would power em best

I have 2 AudioBahn 12 inch sound Q Subs that are 1000 watts rms each, and 2000 peak. I am planning on buying the Hifonics 2000 watt amp or the Hifonics 1600 watt amp. Which would power these best ? Also if which will perform best at higher volume levels ?

i've heard not so good things about hifonics amps, and that they are overrated as well and that they can **** up on you as well for no reason. i'd probly look at something else.

Nah man they are solid amps from I gottin,but Their smaller amps dont do rated power but **** close(as far as 05s)and are affordable.Thier larger amps are slightly underrated,But I would get the hifonics 2000 watts amp, but I would also get a diff. set of subs

You have "Heard" but have you experienced 1st hand? Yes slightly overrated but still solid nonetheless. In the electronics world, anything can **** up for no reason. It is the nature of the beast. Everybody is going to have their own opinion on every brand. I will say this, As far as Audiobahn goes (yes 1st hand experience) they are crap. What about 2 KICKER S15L7 15 inches ?? Should i get the 2000 watt amp for these babies ? I am selling my 2 audiobahns, neva got 2 hear em, but im going to a more trustworthy company.

if you wanna get loud, then throw em in a ported box, throw a kx1200.1 (or whatever you wanna use assuming you get 2 dvc 4s) and let that shit slam. sq isn't great and bass gets muddy but gets loud. i liked my 2 12s when i had em. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
