Ok i havent heard that many different subs in my time but i have always been told that the w6v2 is a SQ woofer...and i've read some things that have told me that the SX isnt

Are you wanting to build an SPL only set-up? I can not imagine you want to do that unless you are doing strictly competition with the set-up.

Dude just depends. Overhyped... no. But I can't say I'd trade the Jl for either unless I was getting a good amount of $$ as well. Just my 2 cents.

I did not even see what amp you had...you want more SPL then you currently have...get a better amp. Also, what type of box do you have the W6 in? ported, sealed?

The W6 is a good SQ sub...well worth keeping. I have never heard complaints about not getting enough SPL from a W6.

Its in a sealed box, about 1.2ft^3...I was trying to work on a ported box for it but my car kept wanting to have problems
