Which would be better for me?

Im planning to get : two JL 12"w6 or two Kicker 12" L7s.

I listen to rock and hip hop depending on my mood and stuff. I like the clean sounding. which one would you recommend. This is mostly for personal satisfaction so it doesnt matter if the other car hears me.

I most likely will be keeping these for as long as they last.

gettings subs first then amp and head unit to compliment. Is this way good or should i do it the other way around?

If thers something else that cost less but has the quality and reliabilty let me know.

well, I believe the W6s are known for the sound quality, and the L7s for their output / SPL

Of course i want the JL's but the price is getting me> when u say L7 is for output/ spl . what does that mean? where can i get info on what sq and spl mean?

you can get good sq out of a L7 if the box is right...

all that matters is the box...

"How much space and how much money do you have to work with?" is the question that should be asked.

i have a dodge durango. so space isnt much of a problem but i would like to try and fit it behind my 3rd row(just in case i need it). at work so dont have specs on it yet. and money: looking to spend as least as possible of course but around 1g for amp sub and deck together.

right now im just getting the subs. amp i will get 1 week after sub and 1 week after amp ill get head unit.
