Which will pull more power?

...if this was true then there would be no need to have eff ratings. Not saying that isnt true in a way but thats how it actually is call DJ and ask which amp is more effiecent at 1ohm.... odds are hell prob say the same.

 
id get the 2200d so you can upgrade later whithout switching amps.

why are there so many people who wanna run big systems but not upgrade the power....your stock electrical is built for a stock car...when you add aftermarket equipment you are putting a bigger strain on your car....just upgrade then buy..

 
get the 2200 for the extra headroom. as long as your not running full tilt youll be fine. you may want a nice big bat in the back tho. andbig three of course. im running 2000 rms with stock alt and a group 31 in the back, bog three. power and ground run to the back and i dont see to horrible of voltage drops

my point exactly in last post! upgrade electrical BEFORE anything! anticipate twice the amount you will actually need then your set! no dimming lights lol

 
I AM planning on upgrading the electrical. Gonna put a big C&D in the rear. My dilemma is idk how I'm gonna do the big 3 yet, my alt is in such a *****y place.
where is it in that car? the alt has so much room around it in my ion its the one redeeming quality of my saturn haha

its hard to really tell from those pics. can you see the positive stud if you move anything around? if you cacn and you have the willpower, theres a way to get it done. i did it in a vw passat. hardest shiit of my life there is no wholes between any parts in the engine bay

 
I can only feel the positive part of the alt if i reach my arm all the way down in there. I can't see what I'm doing then though, and I can only get one arm down in there. So I don't know how I could maneuver a wrench in there and manage to get another terminal on and bolt it back on with one hand not seeing what I'm doing.
