which way to face my sub?

Ok so i have an equinox and with my sub facing to the back its not far at all from my window.. i put my music up and went outside and my window was rattling hard( felt like it would break any second.) i was thinking of facing the box up or towards the front.. what do you all think?

dude just take a second and flip the box upwards doesn't sound hard to me and tell us it sounds. But seriously you will prob. loose some spl and gain some sq the bass will defiently have a smoother response.
