Right now face up sealed in 2.25 cubes, but soon to be between 5-6 cubes sub up slot port toward the rear.Just don't know what i want to tune it to yet.

are there advantage or disadvantage to which way they face?
With my system, I got in a wreck, and the back of my car got fucked up, so there are holes and my trunk aint sealed like it should be. Too expensive to fix. Another thig is that my back seats dont fold down, and they seemed to block too much bass. Another thing, I like to look back and see the excursion. I like how it this way, and that would be the main reason I have mine the way I have it. Sure, I could change around, and maybe get better SPL numbers, but I like it just as it is, and it's loud enough for a daily driver for me right now too. It's all up to you, what u like, and what you dont like.

mine face upwards into the jump seats of an extended cab pickup.

To the front behind back seats

02 golf

This saves the most trunk space however a listening test may make me turn it around.

I always wanted to make a downfiring box.

Treo SSI 15, faceing up, Sealed in a 92 Accord Sedan. i've also had a Type R 15 sealed faceing forward and a JL 13W7 ported faceing the rear. like the Treo setup best.
