which type of box hits really low frequencies better?

i have 2 12 infinity 1230w's and i have them in a sealed dual chamber box, would a ported box help them hit alot lower frequenices?

A ported enclosure will produce more output between about 30-50 hz depending on the tuning, but for true low frequency extension, you need either a huge box or a sealed enclosure.
