which to get first?

so i have a 2004 pontiac grand prix and i would like to upgrade the audio in it. i've seen a few grand prix on here and wondered where should i start first? should i start out by changing the radio or the speakers? also i plan on putting dynamat in the vehicle also. so is there a good place to get it? as well as other equipment i may need or want.

dynamat first. it will improve all sound in your vehicle, even the stock system.

so far i went ahead and got the eclipse radio. after doing some digging i found some stuff called Secondskin and went with that. now for my inside speakers when looked around a couple lines i saw were Hybrid Audio, who i'm guessing is new because i've never heard of them that much, Image Dynamics, who i have heard of and of course JL. Does anyone have any info on Hybrid Audio and where a guy can get some?

Go with the audio system first, the apply the deadening, then the speaker.

For most smaller systems this is the easy and more rewarding way to go
