Which subwoofer would you recommend?

I have a kicker amp, it's 175x2 @ 2 ohms OR 350x1 @ 4 ohms.

I have no clue which subwoofer i should get, and i have only heard a few.

I'm looking into getting the 12" Apline Type R 4 ohm wubwoofer, or a 12" infinity subwoofer...any recommendations?

well, the type r is better. ive heard 2 10" r's with about 300 to each, and they hit pretty hard and sonded hella clean. the infinitys are not as nice, at all. go with the r's.

Price range: Trying to stay below $175 on the subwoofer, i'll find a cheap box.

I've heard that the Type Rs hit hard, and have excellent SQ.... :yum:

12" Type R ported would get loud and sound **** good with that wattage..... I have 2 10" type R's and love them.
