I was wondering what subwoofer would fit great in my 07 classic chevy silverado 2500hd crew and still sound awesome? Looking at SSA, FI, Sundown Audio and anymore suggestion would help. I know I need a custom build enclosure for my system to sound awesome while still retaining the rear seat. Hopefully a enclosure builder will chime in letting me know what I can put in this truck. I have a rockford fosgate power series 1000bdcp amp running my two kicker cvr 10s now in the truck.

To tell you the honest truth, if you built the correct enclosure for each sub, I doubt you would be able to tell the difference between any of those companies if blindfolded IMO. So just pick the one you like best and go with that.

2007 and "classic" do not belong in the same sentence.

But how much space do you have available for a box? How many subs do you plan on running and what size?

Yeah 2007 and classic dont belong but my truck was made in the split when the styles change for my truck. Behind the seat this is the box measurements of the biggest prefab box I can fit back there and that is the box I have now behind my seat. MEASUREMENTS:LENGTH 47 3/4" BOTTOM DEPTH 7 3/4", TOP DEPTH 5", HEIGHT 14", AIRSPACE: .88 CU.FT. PER CHAMBER., MOUNTING DEPTH: 5 1/2,and CONSTRUCTED OF INDUSTRIAL U.S. GRADE 5/8" MDF.

The biggest prefab underneath the seat box that I can find is MEASUREMENTS:Width: 42 3/8",Height: 7", Depth: 16 1/4", Airspace:.77CU.FT. PER CHAMBER., Mounting depth: 6" Magnet Under 6 1/2" width, Mounting depth: 4 1/2" Magnet Over 6 1/2" width, and Constructed of industrial U.S. grade 5/8" MDF.

I know a box builder could make a better box that would sound better and use more of the space available to squeaker more air space out this is just what the pre fab setups look around. I loose mounting depth behind the seat but get more air space but get more mounting depth under the seat but loose a little airspace.

I want either 8s or 10s that are going to beat hard in this truck. Either one or two of size I go with which ever will sound the best in this truck.

Open screw holes sound like a little muffler, loose box panels sound like a massager on a wooden table.
