Hi, im looking at getting either two 12's of the following:

Sundown Nightshades

IA DP

DC Lvl 4XL

ive asked before and i was leaning toward the nightshades but the IA's and the DC intrest me also. no one around here had them so i cant hear them. i have a Sundown SAZ-3500D preordered. i prob compete, just want the loudest two out of the three for daily. so any input would be helpful thanks alot guys

I've used both the Nightshades and the XL Level 4's. Both were 18" versions though.

I personally thought the Nightshade sounded a little better while being loud, but the XL's were just plain fuc king loud. Sounded good, but not like the Nightshade in my opinion. Both woofers will rock the hell out of your vehicle..

Both are awesome drivers....you will not be dissapointed with either speaker.

so the DCs were little louder, but the nightshades sounded better but not as loud. thanks for comparison of the two. anyone use the IA DP along with either the nightshade or lvl 4XL?

The Nightshade I had in a 27Hz box. PEaked @ 40Hz, and at a 40hz cycle, with 2 1500D Sundowns strapped it did 150.6dB. I was impressed , and let me tell you, 150.6@40Hz is brutal...

The DC's I had walled with same pair of 1500D Sundowns tuned at 32Hz, untuned , woofers 1 day old, and gain @ 1/4 it burped a 151.8@41Hz.

Street Beated a 150.3 at about 3/4 volume.

Would have been a lot louder with tuning/break-in time..
