Which subs?

Ok, I have a SPL Mono Class D 2000 watt Amplifier, what subs would bang the hardest with this amp. I am looking to have clean but loud bass.. I want to bang lets put it that way.. I am putting the system in a 96' Jimmy. I was wondering; since a Jimmy does not have a trunk, would it be louder than most cars? Since there is nothing blocking the sound from the back to the front? I had some Pioneer Championship series before... Also, Do you need a head unit to wire up the subs and amp or can you use the stock head unit.. How much wire do I need to buy to set it up?

The amp is Mono block....

So the 12" type Rs are definetely a good fit with the SPL amp.. Does it matter if the amp is MONO CLASS or 2 channel? Would they both still work with the subs..? If I have the SPL 2000 watt amp with 2 12" Alpine Type Rs am I going to Bang?
