which subs?

ok, i am looking into getting a pair of 12's to put in my car. i have narrowed my selection down to two different subs, i am looking at either the alpine type x 12's or the eclipse titanium 12's...

my interior speakers are the CDT es 07.3's up front, and es 07.1's in the rear, so i want the subs to be able to keep up with both their sound quality, but also their volume, these comps can get quite loud while still sounding absolutely incredible and i'm looking for subs to match

any info/opinions on which subs would be better would be greatly appreciated

i can get the alpines for 300 bucks, and the eclipses for 400, but the eclipses have a lower rms power rating so the amp for those would be cheaper.

so im lookin at spending about the same amount of money for either setup, i just need recommendations as to which sub

I might recommend an rl-p or RE SE, but if i had to choose between those two i would pick the eclipses. What amps are you gonna be running?

ok, how about this? which setup would get louder while still maintaining the quality i've grown to love from my cdt's?

the alpines with 1200 watts rms, or the eclipses with 800 rms

i had the amps picked out earlier, but i forget what they are off the top of my head, and being 5:00 a.m. and i haven't slept yet im too tired to look em up, lol. but those are the numbers they'll see, i do remember that much

i dont have an amp(s) yet either, so i will be getting whatever will match the subs i get to my liking
