I have owned 2 different kinds.
I just loved my CVR's so when I decided on a whole new setup I took the amp from teh CVRs to power my interiors and then got a CVX. I heard a LOT of good things about the CVX, and then I was about to get a 12" L7 and KidThump talked me into the CVX and i'm very happy he did!

Yeah man you were all about the CVX and then you sold out to an MT lmao.

Yeah I love my 15. Hits real hard and sounds amazing doing it.

I also went from sealed to ported in my change so that was a big difference too, I can feel my hair move.

kicker impulse - first subs, loved the pair in my old 91 mustang

kicker cvr - first 15" sub, alright, especially since i paid $50 bnib from a dealer

type r's - first sub after being out of car audio for like 8 years, didn't live up to the hype

jl w3 - very nice little sq subs

tc sounds tc9 - loved it, felt like it needed more power than i had at the time though

tc sounds oem 12 - overall great sub, definately my favorite so far of the few i've owned

mach5 maw15 - great sub, especially for the money. comparable to my 15" cvr off the same power, but with better sq (sealed that is, haven't yet ported it).

oz audio 250l - loved the sq, but wanted more output

and pretty soon i should be getting a shiva x so i can't wait to get that installed

Have heard many. Owned only two:

1.) JL W0: For the power level..they pounded, and sounded phenominal. First time I heard one on 200W from a PPI I though there was more power going to it. Clean, clean smooth bass. Hit nice. I had 3 running off a 400W PPI PC450

2.) JL W3v2: Again, for the power level, these things pounded. Had a 500/1 hooked up to them in a ported box. These were the ones I had at my first and only SPL comp, bout a year and a half ago. Hit 144. No distortion ever. Great sound.

Will be able to add W6v2 on the list next month after my next install goes down.

2 10" Prestiges sounded like bass haha not much output and some *****s stole em

1 12" type R still own its suround went bye bye nice output and didnt sound terrible

2 12W1v2's sounded great loved the SQ just not enough output

2 13W6v2's loud sounded great got pretty low

2 15T2D4's really loud and sound good also get crazy crazy low

type r best budget sub

w1s good cheap sq

w6 loud and get low best sq

15 low and loud and sound good doing it

I loved the SQ of the 13w6v2's but the T2 get crazy low and are louder so...

Lightning Audio 10 - Ok was just for my room for a little bit of bump

Polk - Ok good sq but didn't get loud enough for me

Pioneer DVC 12s - Really suprised me got low shook like my whole car set off car alarms lol and still had good sq good for a decent sub price also.

Now......selling off all my audio have to get money to save up to get a car . then ill be back in the audio game Bigger & Louder was thinkn if i have the room Two Re MT's

xxx18... good output... too big... good sq... better off with multi-sub setup

cvr.....................good for price, decent output

kicker CVX...... Dam son, Lots of bass for a 100 bucks and 700 rms

12 pioneer prem.. again, sq is beh, install dependant.. sealed OK.

12 SSD..... would take this over the SE

RE MT... sloppy LOUD... send the motor to TC get a better product.
