Out of those choices the Soundqubed is the most intriguing to me. I have no personal experience with any of those though. Sundown is always a good option, as they've been in the 8" game a while now and always go above and beyond from revision to revision. A little extra cost but they put in the development to make great sub's.

The only other single 8" sub I heard was the Dc one in a t line and that thing slammed. So sorry I have not.
ok was just wandering.

Have 2 of the Soundqubed subs in a Tline and they slam, 2 more going in now.
any vids of it playing ?

Yeah I have videos. I'll post up some pics when I get home cause I can figure out how to load mobile photobucket

I have 2 hds208s in a ported cscstang box in my Silverado and they sound very very nice and loud. I had 2 Memphis 12s in a sealed prefab that didn't sound as good. Granted my truck doesn't vibrate as much any more but the output is so much better. Never heard 8s before and but i wouldn't switch back to 12s in this truck.

"try and mount it in my back dashboard" - are you putting it in a box that will be mounted there, or are you installing it free air, with the trunk being used as a enclosure?

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...
