Which Sound deadner to use???

ok ive narrowed it down pricewise to these. rattle trap is 80 mil thick and audiowrap is 60 mil thick. anyone ever used either. pros? cons? GO!

60 mil vs 80 mil. Mass difference is huge. More mass = more deadening/stiffness.

yes you do... you have your mind made up.... but i will guarantee you that the Audiowrap is better. it beats Dynamat pro in 9 out of 10 test. and while it is 60mil... the Butyl rubber adhesive sticks and prevents better vibration resistianc...

So you saying because a piece of FOAM.......that is 1 inch thick........ IS going to be better at keeping sound in or out than a piece of Cardboard that is 1/2 inch thick....

Its about Density. and material......

a regular STEEL 45lb Plate used for weight lifting is WAY heavier than anything the same size made out of concrete.

i understand where u are coming from. didnt mean to come off as my mind made up but i just want to know if anyone has had experiance with rattle trap. i know everyone is saying audiowrap now but what if it falls off within a year? i mean no one has had it long enough to know about duration. i may go with ur 62 sq ft roll though

this stuff will NOT fall off. it is MADE here in DENVER colorado.... where the weather changes from one extreme to the other. and by a company that has been in buisness for 5 times as long as any Sound deadner in existance. their products are designed to stick. there slogan is " We stick where others fall"
