the worst sounding shallow mount subs i have heard was the earthquake.

That I don't know, but I have personaly not heard them so I can't argue

i am a fosgate dealer. they are in the p3 series because the cast basket and it is a higher grade sub.

Same perfomance as a P1

Now don't get me wrong I liek a lot of rockford's products. personally I think the p3 15"s are you're best products right now as far as moofers go, and you amps pwn, (T300-2) do 800 rms (rated @ 300)

there punch line of subs do not perform as well in small boxes as some other subs. in trucks we usually recomend re series re subs if you have 5 in. mounting depth. there amps perform above there ratings and sound really good.

RE has just released a shallowmount....going by the rest of their products it should should pretty good

the RF shallows also have a break-in period...according to the paper that came with the set we installed anyway

The MB Quarts are sick shallow mounts. They have a neo motor in the center of the sub, 2 1/2" coil and very price efficent. Here are some pics. I love them, got a few.

i am glad somebody posted the pic. sexy, they sound really good, & reasonable. we installed the 10" mod. in .7 cubs. on a cheap pioneer amp w/factory radio & it really surprised me.

the diamond hex are the same style as the mb's and sound exactly like the d6...
