Which setup would you guys choose?

Which would get louder? It is going in a 1994 ford explorer.

The type rs will be in a box behind the back seat, subs up and ports back.

The rex 8's will be in a wall behind the back seat, subs forward with ports towards top facing forward also. There will be about 8 of the subs in front of the rear seat (blocked)
