Which Router to buy??? (SEARS AD LINK)

cheaper routers usually do not hold up to my use. cutting rings out of .75" & 1.5" mdf is hell on the motors. i bought a makita w/ very large motor. no problems now.

cheap router's in the hands of in-experienced builders dont hold up. I have used a ryobi plunge router for OVER a year and a half. Has not screwed up on me once! You have to clean them bishes after every use really good and keep them in a dry cool place. The use of high quality bit's makes your router last long as well. Do not go cheap on the bit's as if you do its your loss.

in closing, a cheap router can become an expensive router in the hands of an experienced wood worker, but can also have a long life if properly used, cleaned and stored.
