This. I have an 09 Crewmax 4x4 with the 5.7. Hertz HSK165s up front, Eclipse coaxials out back, Eclipse EA4200 and Alpine MRPM500 amps, Pioneer Premier 10 in a shallow box behind the seat.new tundra crewmax. tons of room in the rear. and they are made in the USA... chevy and GMC are made in mexico FYI
It's got stock left, right, and center dash openings that look like they could take up to 3.5 inch drivers with few further mods if you find the right mounting depth. People who get in my backseat tell me they feel like they're in a limousine. The rear seat slides forward and backward and reclines. Right now my 10 in its custom shallow box from my old Dakota Quad Cab sits behind half that seat. I loose maybe 2 clicks of seat travel with the seat still reclined slightly, and from the front of the rear seatbottom to the rear seatback still looks like a football field when you open the door and look in.
2 tens behind the rear seats surely wouldn't be a problem, I imagine 12s could be managed too. The rear leg room is so cavernous from the get go you can give some up for a box and still be way ahead of a sedan as long as you don't go crazy on mounting depth. Im actually tempted to try my first normal sized 10 in a decent sized box in the same spot now that I have all this room to work with.
For bigger subs an extended cab version of anytruck is probably the way to go as there's usually more space for a box under the fold-up rear seat bottom you'll find in the back of most.
