Which phone to get?

Ok, my main question to everyone is how much do you use the internet on the phone. Is it just a novelty you use at first then after that you just don't use it? That is my main thing, if I am not going to use the internet because the novelty wears off then it isn't worth it.

I use the internet on my iphone some everyday

I work right in front of a computer though

it really helps if I need a phone number or directions

I also check the score on ESPN when im out

facebook ans such

$30 is to much honestly, if you need email all the time, then its worth it

you know,
I own an iphone and im even tired of people saying that
x2, i bought a 3g as i don't need a ****ing compass, and already had to send it in for the screen coming apart from the surround, now the one they sent me back is having problems connecting to the network everytime i wake it from sleep, should have kept my htc tilt, or if i would have known a tilt 2 was coming out i would have just bought that instead of an iphone to be honest.

I have the rogue and love it. for a "texting" phone, it's surprisingly great to talk on and everything is pretty simple to work. battery life is great too

I would buy it again

Samsung Behold 2

or Moto Cliq

Ok, so, option are as follows, in order of my wanting them:

1. Moto Droid

2. Blackberry Storm2

3. HTC Droid Eris

4. LG enV 3

5. LG enV Touch

6. Samsung Rogue

I am hesitant on a Samsung as it is what I have now and the Glyde is a piece of shit sent straight from hell to annoy me. Also, Samsung phones have thw worst reception out there pretty much. I am leaning towards the Droind now because of the awesome feature set, cool apps, and the fact that I have loved my previous 2 Moto phones. I am just not sure I will use the internet features enough. I am going to Verizon tomorrow and will make my decision then.

I would stay away from any of the motorola phone's. They are complete crap compared to what they use to be. I couldn't get service on one in my house, the battery even properly trained would only last 4-5 hours without any usage in flight mode, the keyboard's liked to stop working, and they constantly rebooted without any warning. I upgraded to the HTC Touch Pro which was really nice phone as well. But much like you I didn't want the data plan so I've now switched to the Env Touch and it's been great. I can use the phone all night, play a game of madden on it, check facebook, myspace, all the sports scores, and text at work for most of the night and still have over half a battery left after 10 hours. The internet browser is really good too, the touch screen is really smooth and accurate, and the camera is pretty good for pictures and videos.

The only thing I don't like about it is the fact you can't leave the mobile IM or any of the other program's like that open when you keylock the phone. It make's you end them all before it will lock it out. Another thing I don't like is the shitty people are verizon taking 2 week's to ship me the phone and not putting me on the right plan then trying to bill me $489 because of all the text and picture messaging I do. But they ended up fixing it after a little *****ing at them and I end up paying $60 a month with the 5000 text plan as compared to the $112 I was having to pay for my HTC Touch with the data plan you're required to have.
