Which phone to get?

I have the env3 (I got it 4 days ago) and I like it so far. Its design is a lot like a PDA.

My old env2 is for sale if your interested.

the front buttons don't work, so you don't have to worry about pocket dialing people at all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the inside keyboard and screen, as well as the rest of its functions work perfectly though.

pm me if u want to buy it

just a fyi if you have a sams club near you buy your phone there they dont make you do mail in rebates(all rebates are instant) and they are far cheaper than the retail stores I just bought my ole lady the samsung instinct at the sprint stor it was 199 with a 100 mail in rebate and at sams it was free no mail in rebate

I have the touch. Liked it so far. Pretty accurate touch screen, quick to navigate. No problems yet. Wasn't sure if I'd like it of not being that I'd used flip phones for over 10 years now, but it's been pretty good. I'm happy with it.

can you explain why you think its like a pda? my girlfriend has it and its just like a basic phone to me. it doesnt run windows or anything like that.

OP, I have the env touch and so far I love it. I have had it for 2 months with no problems whatsoever. My girlfriend has the env 3 and has had to get 3 replacement phones already. One of them she only had for 2 weeks and the hinge got really loose, then it stopped receiving text messages and automatically deleted most messages. Then the 3rd one kept freezing up. After hours of them trying to fix them they just ended up giving her a new one each time. The env touch is slightly larger. I have stubby fat fingers and cant type on my girlfriends Env3 but can type just fine on the Touch. The touch keyboard is just a tad wider. Dont listen to all of the reviews on the battery life complaints. Sure, you have to plug it in every night, but if you have good connection then you can surf the net and use the phone regularly without a huge strain on the battery.. It's only when you are going in and out of signal that it will drain the phone really quick. The only regret I have is I didnt wait for the DROID to come out.

If you are looking for a phone similar to the IPHONE with apps and what not I'd go with the Droid. Apps for the Env Touch really don't exist. They used a bit of marketing hype when talking about Apps for the phone, they were just referring to games and simple applications that all phones have had for years. From what I understand the Droid actually runs IPHONE like apps and what not.

hope that helps.

I am mainly looking for a nice phone with some good features. won't have a data plan as of now. I just want a nice screen for picture messaging with family and friends and I like the keyboard for texting, won't go without one anymore.

I hate my current phone, a Samsung Glyde, it's a POS, it registers phantom clicks, it clicks the wrong button many times and gets poor reception. I am looking at the LG enV 3, Samsung Rogue and the LG enV Touch. Does any one have any experience with these phones? I just don't want to get stuck with a shitty phone again.
who's your carrier Brah?

Edit: didn't see the links. Why not the droid? Shit's sweet.

Don't got the $$$ to pay for the $200 phone plus the additional $30 a month for the required data plan for it.
would be well worth it though. I was under the impression that the envy needed a data plan.

and 200 isn't bad for what it can do. I would get that if I was a verizon user or the Cliq if I was a tmobile user.

Oh believe me, I want one really bad. I have a friend who just got one, he said it is awesome too. Maybe use it as a Christmas present/work thing.
