Which optima to get?

like i said earlier...the redtop is nothing more than a standard lead acid battery...
save yourself the cash and buy an everstart maxx for $50 from walmart with a 3 year warranty.

buying a optima red top is like buying a Fi woofer thats rebranded with JL stickers. you're not getting any special technology by going with a red top just cause it has the Optima name on it.

Iam with him...... get the yellow top or just get a regular batt

There's absolutely no difference except for the wing nut terminals and they're blue. I like them simply for the extra terminals on top. They make it a lot easier for mulitple connections.

Oh yeah its a big scheme. They even cost more because they freakin slap a marine label on them. There's 4 brand new on ebay right now but the guy wants $197 to ship to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

nsb90 and nsbg3100 anyone?

supposedly scottie johnson saw a nsb g3100 that blew up (the top case anyways) and to his surprise, it was nothing more than a nsb90 underneath. even had a nsb 90 sticker on it.

yet, northstar wants more for the nsb g3100, and says they wont sell the nsb 90 for car audio applications lol.

I wanted to pick up Kurt's NSB100 but I'm still little weary of them so far. Plus at 100ah its around the same as a kinetik 2000.

kinetik has models that can be used underhood. but i believe almost all of the northstar models are just too big to fit in almost all battery trays.

Yes there are a positive terminal block and negative.The negative post is usually smaller then the positive post so a positive terminal block won't fit.

Yt work best redtop don't differ alot from some battery's. as for Bluetop they are more like a deep cycle Battery also marine.
