No, it actually wasn't Dave. But a guy that Dave refferred me to that actually lives really close to me. As far as the brands here is what i got. So let me know which ones that i can get that will do better in the lanes. As far as sticking to the MOFO do you even need to ask. But if you can think of something better from below please let me know. I am open to suggestions.

you were playing with your d@mn wood. I could here you screwing over the phone.

There are also the immortals which i can get a hold of.

The EHO154 quad 1.3 ohm Hard Kore subs from MA Audio.

Or the other Hard Kore series subs from MA Audio

I am ready for a change and i am trying to get more competitive. Well i got off the phone with a knowledgeable and respectable car audio junkie today. He suggested that if i wanted to do better that i should limit myself to one sub, (since i don't have the room for 2 15's). Well i can't decide if i want to compete with a single 12 or a single 15? Which class do you think there is less competition in?It will either be a 12 MOFO or a 15 MOFO.

I plan on keeping the 2 A3000DB's and strapping them together to get a 3600 wrms at 2 ohms.
yes they are strappable...

well assuming the PA amps are strapable, i would run 4 A3000DBs (pairs strapped) to a pair of 12s. Which would put u in street B and u could probly hold ur own with the right install

i am looking at the rules a little more and here is what i found.

Street A Class – A maximum of 1 subwoofer amplifier (or 2 externally bridged monoblock amplifiers) may be used. A maximum TOTAL of 2 electrical conductors may be used to connect the amplifier(s) to the woofer(s). (Please see the definitions section for more detail regarding conductors.)

o One 12-inch woofer

o OR a maximum of two 10-inch woofers

o OR a maximum of three 8-inch woofers

· Street B Class – A maximum of 2 subwoofer amplifiers (or 4 externally bridged monoblock amplifiers) may be used. A maximum TOTAL of 4 electrical conductors may be used to connect the amplifier(s) to the woofer(s).

o One 15-inch woofer

o OR a maximum of two 12-inch woofers

o OR a maximum of three 10-inch woofers

o OR a maximum of four 8-inch woofers

· Street C Class – A maximum of 4 subwoofer amplifiers (or 8 externally bridged monoblock amplifiers) may be used. A maximum TOTAL of 8 electrical conductors may be used to connect the amplifier(s) to the woofer(s).

o One 18-inch woofer

o OR a maximum of two 15-inch woofers

o OR a maximum of four 12-inch woofers

o OR a maximum of six 10-inch woofers

o OR a maximum of eight 8-inch woofers

I am looking and if i was going to run a single 15 that would put me in street B. But if i am going to compete in that class i would be better off running with 2 12's since they should generally have a louder SPL combined than a single 15. But the more i am looking at it the more i want to compete in street A with a single 12 or 2 10's. They do have MOFO 10's.

I am just trying to stay away from 15's as they are hard to work with in my trunk.

actualy after looking over the past events u may be better off in street c, seems to be mid 140s wins it. IF money is not an object (write it off as a sponsored car/business expense) run 8 amps and 2 15s. With the increase of power u wouldnt need a very big box ~2cubes each with lots of port area //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Street B in Ohio is in the 150s...

Street C is in the 145-148s

Street A will be tough, u are limited to 2 amps and 2 10s and that class is in the 150s for a win also like street B

could u fit 4 12s? (probly not... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif )

i honestly thing that if u want easy wins, street C is the choice for you

so you are thinking that i should just keep the 2 15's. I just don't know if i am going to be seeing many wins with this setup as i don't have near enough room to work with.
