Which one to choose?

Hey guys, im looking for a mix of SPL and SQ ( SPL Biased ) , Im wondering what would be a better selection for this combination? Two 12 Type R's or Two 12" L7's, either one of these would be put in a TCAB Box, and juiced to the limit of safe RMS ( 1000 w to the Type R's )

Ive heard that the 12" L7 is louder then the 12 Type R, but what are you opinions? what should i go with if i want alot of boom, but also sound good doing it, both in a TCAB box?

I would say go with the Type R if your looking for more of a SQL setup.

lets flip this around then... Two 12 L7s or a single 15" Type R really juiced up with like 1600 or so watts rms?

Single L7, maxed out for volume, set up to hit the 30hz-55 or 60hz freq range, and with the money you saved compared to 2 speakers, get a pair of nice components that will blend nicely and carry 60hz+

That should accomplish SQL, just don't expect the kicker to be accurate on a much larger freq. range than that, restricted to a small band, they're killer.

BUT, for a good SQL setup, i vote 15" TYPE-R will be plenty loud and sound good doing it, but push it with like 1200rms or so, not 1500+
