yep Im in the process of joining a team... once I get some more money saved up I think that I am going to to wall off the danger ranger with 2 apxx 18s on 10kw...

You could do 155s easy with a single 18 on 4k in that truck. I say apxx any day, the gaps are super tight.

I have no first hand experience with the LV5 , but APXX is one of the strongest motors we have ever used

either sub is a solid choice but dont see many atomics in competition any more ,do see the lvl 5 alot ,might look at the ascendant mayhem too

LV6 is beast. A friend of mine uses a lot of DC subs (plus many others) in his Civic, LV6 and small gap Shocker did the same number, LV5 was almost a db down from them. He has also had issues with DC softparts. We put a NIGHTSHADE recone in the LV5 and it seems to hold up a bit better. Haven't got it on the meter yet though.

If you have an Atomic now, get a second, you'll be hard pressed to find bad things about that sub for SPL applications and Atomic may be easier to get hold of for recones when you start blowing stuff up.
