Which of these amps would you get and why?

Wanting 1500-2000RMS at 2 ohms.

I am considering:

Hifonics BXI2607D

Kicker 1500.1

Fosgate T20001BD

Memphis MCD-1500D

...or other

Please state why you might suggest what you suggest. The money difference in these isn't a big issue.

I have a pair of T2 fosgates, so I am leaning towards the T20001bd.

kicker or memphis since i think they're the only two that'll do the power ur looking for
Thanks. Are you saying that the T20001bd or BXI2607D are not capable of putting out 1500 to 2000W RMS at 2 ohms and are overrated? I have always experienced that fosgate amps are underrated by at least 10%. Is the power series the exception to the rule?

Not considering cost --

I'd say

RF

Memphis

Kicker

HF

HF last just because I don't think it has the initial quality of the other 3.

RF 1st because it's 1 ohm stable. At 2 ohms it shouldn't even break a sweat.

Memphis/Kicker basically tied quality-wise IMO, but I think those MCD's are just sweet looking amps.

Z1, Gti6000
dont you think the z1 will put out a little more than he actually needs? i mean yeah you can set the gain but im pretty sure he doesnt want to spend a thousand dollars on a amp that he doesnt need all of its power or even a third of its power

Pretty sure that z1 and 6000gti are a bit out of my power range.

I have eliminated the hifonics. Seems like there is no chance of the t20001bd not being at 1500W since they are average of 40% underrated. There is a 1500.1 here locally on CL. If I cannot get that at 250-300, then I think that I might go with the fosgate since it can go 1 ohm and has more power to spare. It is about $100 more that the others, but I don't care.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
