The hifonics amp will be fine for the type r's.

I just installed a AudioQue 1200D on two 12'' type r's today, it did pretty well, you might look into one f those.

To be completely honest man. For what you are spending on those JL speakers. I would recommend something with better power handling and better overall tonal quality.

The Image Dynamics CTX65cs are amazing entry level Components and they will take 100-200wrms very well. Beats the heck out of the 60wrms those JL's recommend.

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_id=6201 those are the ID comps.

For those I would recommend a amp that puts out around 150wrms x2 @ 4 ohms.

Also, I wouldn't worry about powering your rear speakers, just power them from the deck amp.

What kind of car is this goin in?

thanks for the quick answers
they goin ina 96 maxima

good thing i havent the bought the jls lol
Haha yeah. I have a pair of CTX's in my car at the moment! They are surprisingly awesome. I know they say 100wrms but I talked to Eric Stevens, the ID owner and he suggested sending them more, and wow do they perform. Can't beat the bang for the buck with them man.

Also I would recommend, unless there is a ID dealer near you, to buy them from http://www.woofersetc.com Because it is likely that if you buy them anywhere else on the net, the warranty will not be recognized.

Let us know if you need any more suggestions.

What is your total budget for the Amps?

Like I said, that Audioque 1200d did well, but the subs were dual 4 ohm coils so it was wired to 1ohm. You may need something beefier if your subs are dual 2 ohm.

Maybe something that puts out about 1500wrms @ 2 ohms in that case.

i own a jbl gto 75.4 its a sweet *** amp man im runnin it to a set of pg rsd components and they sound great on the 104 or whatever it says it does im sure it does that for sure

shaneb did u get my pm on cac
replied lol.

And as for the PG RSD's. OP, I haven't heard them, but they are a serious CA.com boner. Apparently they are THE budget buy for components around here. So if you want to save some cash, you might go with those!
