which loaded enclosure is better

Which is better for what? Are you looking for sound quality or sound pressure? Low end extension for Decaf or peaks in the 40Hz range for pop music? Are you asking which can handle more power or are you curious which cabinet is built the sturdiest?

There is a lot left on the table with a generalized question like "which is better?", because the above qualifiers I presented are only a few examples of what "better" could mean to you. And what you might think is better... might not be better to me.

All that aside, as was said above, there is no appreciable difference between the two loudspeakers you presented. Both are entry level subs in prefab boxes and the likelihood is that both are tuned in the high 30Hz range so essentially, they are two flavors of ice cream and there is neither a right or a wrong answer to which one you prefer.

Lastly, you're asking that question in a forum where the overwhelming majority of users do not buy or use entry level prefab loudspeaker systems. So, asking for a comparison of those systems here is like joining a Ford Mustang forum and asking people if they like the Chevy Camaro or the Pontiac Firebird better.

like i said before they really are both crap entry level stuff, but go for it and come back here when you feel the need to upgrade, which wont take long. or they go up in smoke. it will be a race to see what happens first.

no real point on a review of those on this forum, we all know they are junk that doesnt perform well.

Not to start a huge war. But not everyone is looking for a system to shake the block, he might be very happy with a little extra bass ? I also agree for almost same amount of funds you could build a enclosure and def gain more output. But again he asked a question between these 2 prefabs and I gave MHO about them.

Thanks for the suggestion I'll take a look. And yes just looking for a little more ummph thought for $150 might be a little better SQ and a little louder. I am running the Jackhammers at 500rms 2 ohms. Not looking to shake the block the MTX is almost good enough just need that little bit more. Not really weanting to do to much more and have to upgrade the amp too but might be the way I go. I just wanted a simple answer so I could decide if swapping the boxes would be worth it. I' am sure I could sell the Jackhammer box for $100 on craigslist lol.
