Which Kicker Amp to Power Kicker Sub?

What will be the better choice to power a single 12" Kicker CVR (DVC) in a ported box with the specs being 2 cubes @ 34 hz?

- Kicker ZX400.1 for $135

- Kicker ZX750.1 for $200

Will be used daily and I am coming from a Profile AP1000M amp. Will both Kicker amps get louder and sound better than my previous Profile? Is the ZX750.1 worth the extra $65? I will not be competing. I just want something that will be loud and be reliable.

i got my 750.1 for 230 but yeah. the 750 will definately push it hard. might be too hard because some can get over 900 watts. my friend had 2 CVRs goin off of a 750 and they were hitting really hard. hes since upgraded to a 1000.1 for them but yeah i would keep it simple with the 400.1. you could though, get the 750 and have room to upgrade to an L7 or something later.

Yea definitely get the 750.Your getting almost 350w-500w more for 65 bucks more. I say 500 because more kicker amps push out a tad bit more. Definitely watch your gain. You dont need to crank it to max to get that king of bass effect. Also watch that bass boost.
