Which Kicker amp for HD3?

I'm getting one 15" HD3. It'll be in a ported box built to the correct specs tuned at 40 hz. I'm trying to decide whether to get the Kicker 1200.1, 1250.1, or 2500.1. Whichever I buy will be remanufactured from an authorized Kicker dealer so I'll have the 90 day warranty from Kicker. I've searched a lot and I know most people say to run about 2000 watts to it. I would like to hear from people that have tried the HD3 at different wattages and if it really does need the extra watts. Money's not really a problem but I don't want to waste it either. Thanks.

i have a 12" on a 1500.1 and I like it. but it can definately take more power. so for a 15 i would go with the 2500
