Which is the better edead deal?

i can get 20 sq. ft. of V4 (1/4" thick, 250 mil?) for $40

or

40 sq. ft. of V1 (45 Mil thick) for $40

i need to cover my trunk... which one should i get?

V4 is the butyl-based deadener that they just released, correct?

If so, I would go with that if you go with eD products. V1 is asphalt based and should be avoided...

V4 is designed to be used with V1, V1SE2, or V3.

If the V4 is butyl, I'd definately go with that over the v1, which is crap IMO same as the SE, what I've seen of their v3, i didn't like it either...

The v4 may be a decent product, but I'll stick with second skin...

RAAMmat 60BXT gets my vote for a low-cost deadening solution.

V4 is the barrier deadener they just released. It is similiar to ensolite but it has an adhesive backing. V1se2 is the new butyl deadener they just released and it can be had for $1.28 per ft^2 with the forum discount code. For deadening your trunk you would probably want to go with the V1se2
