Which is the best to face my subwoofers? (2004 tahoe)

I have a single 15" CVR in a sealed enclosure, and two 10" cvrs in a ported enclosure. I will be making a box eventually to hold the two 10's and the 15"

I got the 15" and the box and was hoping it would fit right next to the box with the 10's but the box's next to each other is literely about two inches to big so right now I have the 10's in the middle and the box for the 15" just sitting on top of the box for the 10's

Does this weaken sound quality since the 15" is not actually sitting on the carpet?

I was thinking about moving the box for the 10's and putting it vertical facing up in the trunk putting the 15" in the middle facing towards the trunk hatch

Well it sounds real good and gets pretty loud and doesnt distort and i'm only running both of a 500 watt amp

I'm just wondering if stacking the box on top of the box for the 10's reduces the sound at all.. and now why is not a good idea to run two different sizes of woofers?

Unless I listen to it i wouldn't be able to tell.

You're using 2 different sized woofers in 2 different style enclosures, running off the same amp. I'm guessing there is cancellation somewhere and boosting somewhere. In other words, it wont sound good unless they blend together really well which i highly doubt they are. Unless your going for some kind of 4-way set up, then you would need the subs in front of you because anything over 70hz is too easily located in a car. Your subwoofer should play 70hz(with a certain roll-off) and below and it shouldn't take multiple size speakers in different style enclosures to achieve this.

A cell video won't help as cell mics aren't very good to begin with.

well all three are dual 2 ohm kicker cvr's

I dont know If I should just get another 15" cvr and a 1000watt amp since they are 500rms each or if i should just get a ported box for the 15" and push a little more power to it than 500 watts since I hear kicker's are under rated.

Get another 15 and build a ported enclosure for both, with the 1000watt amp and that should be louder

I had 2 CVR 15s on an AP1.5k in a ported box tuned to 33 or 32, dont remember but it sounded decent .. but when I say decent, take that with a grain of salt because thats all i could afford at the time..

build something similar to this, tuned to the single 15, and you'll be taking pics of the bottle jumping out of your center console, not weak mirror shots.... and you can still use one of your 3rd row seats....
