sorry guys this stupid computer jacked up anyways my question is:

Which sub is louder and better?

Kicker 10L7

Kicker 12L5

I know the L5 has more cone area but which one in your opinoin is going to be louder?

Both could be running at 600rms.

If I were you I would just plain out go and get the l5..For one they are basically the samething and it would be louder than the l710 easily given the right enclosure...They have the same moto basically, design, the l7 has a better cooling design**which would help out more in HIGH powered setups etc...BUt I would just get the l512..Port it, put in a good sized enclosure 3.0-5.0ft3...You not going to see hardly anything from that sub with that little of power..I seriously hope u are not going to run 600 watts to it???!?!?!..I'd run more along the lines of about 900-1100watts...Those subs with there motor take a lot of power before they start moving in..especially if they arent broke in yet..Your going to be rather unsatisfied with that sub at that amount of power..Especially if its not broke in..But I hope I was helpful..Best of luck to ya //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I would be running 600rms thats the 12L5's rms exactly so thats correct in that area. My amp puts out 800 max so I think I would at least get some sound out of it since I'd be running the rms.
